Welcome!
Welcome to Serafin J Moreno's ePortfolio, 2014 graduate from the school of World Languages and Cultures at California State University, Monterey Bay. Throughout this site you will be able to attain a better understanding on my endeavored research topic which has required extensive investigation and research. In culmination, my research project outlines the importance of the feminine experience and highlights their struggle for equality in Chile, through various elaborate publications. Using Maria Luisa Bombal's ground breaking short story, La última niebla(1935), I will attempt to analyze and expose traces of influential movements, like that of the surrealist and dadaist movements found in her writings. Individuals like Virginia Woolf, Pablo Neruda, Sigmund Freud, Andre Breton, without a doubt, impacted her style of writing and allowed her the tools to impact Latin-american literature. As you navigate though the pages you will be able to see how I achieved my goal of analyzing La última niebla. By navigating this site you will also see evidence that will consolidate my goal of attaining a Bachelors of Arts Degree: Spanish.
